Our quality department is staffed by quality engineers who monitor every process and every step to ensure that MSI meets and exceeds the specifications to build quality into every part.
Our Quality Assurance Program is ISO 9001:2000, ISO 13483, and AS 9100 certified, and has built-in provisions to accommodate our customers' individual needs. Consequently, all measuring tools are calibrated on a schedule and their accuracy is traceable to the National Institute for Standards and Technology.
In our lab, MSI programmers use PRO-E CAD-CAM to import CAD data from our customers’ CAD systems to generate CNC machine tool programs for the manufacturing process. These customer specific programs are kept on file in order to expedite the manufacturing process as subsequent orders are modified and/or placed.
The quality management system for Machine Specialties, Inc. is compliant to the requirements of AS9100B and ISO9001:2000. Although this was the first official audit, registration was recommended with no findings and the organization was praised for its effective internal audit process and strong commitment to continual improvement. Machine Specialties, Inc. is NADCAP approved in Chemical Processing and Non-destructive Testing.
