ENGINEERING & DESIGN:
MSI programmers use PRO/E CAD-CAM to import CAD data from our customers’ CAD systems to generate CNC machine tool programs for the manufacturing process.
Pro/E provides the capability to generate machine programs for 3, 4 and 5 axis simultaneous or independent machining on multiple parts with ‘real time’ machine tool simulation. We can download customer CAD files in native Pro/E, IGES, STEP and other standard formats. Our Pro/E CAD/CAM system is electronically interfaced with the SHOPLINK DNC system for direct loading of programs to and from the machines.
MSI also uses the Vantage system, an integrated, comprehensive software system design specifically for manufacturers. The system provides precise control and documentation of all phases of the manufacturing process. Shop floor data collection is an integral part of Vantage, and enables MSI to provide detailed, real-time answers regarding work-in-progress.
